LETS ALL GET ALONG
The ideal resolution to the problem of people against gay rights would be that people believe that everyone is equal.
There are people that are fighting aginst equality because of their religious view, but the Bible states that we are supposed to love everyone and it does not provide an exception. If we would follow God's rules, we would know that we should love everyone no matter their sexual orientation.
In order to be able to persuade someone that is against equality, we need to be able to see what their point of view is and explain why equality is the right thing to do.
I am going to provide a personal example. I was talking to my grandfather who is a conservative persond, who is involved in the Christian church, and I asked his point of view towards this matter and of course he stated that it was wrong because of his religious view. Then i asked that if it was right that people were fighting against gay rights, but right before I asked, I asked him if would be fair if someone wanted to fight against our rights just because we are from certain ethnicity, religious point of view, political view, or background? and he said that no it was not right. I also asked what would his opinion would be if a person wanted to fight against his rights just for the reason of him beign from Mexico and he said no that it was absolutely not right. Then I asked, now do you thinks that it is right for us to fight against someone's right just because they have a different sexual preference and then he said not. Now this came from a person who is older, conservative and Christian.
